This workshop series motivated young women to explore photographic portraiture as a way of communicating ideas of cultural identity, dismantle staid narratives that have influenced self perception and explore their female relationships in a safe and secure environment. The resulting exhibition held in the grounds of the Country Women's Association, Derby was a huge community success. Camera Story have been invited to continue this annual collaboration.
