We have developed a one on one mentorship program for at-risk and under resourced women who want to develop and establish a successful career in media and photography. Over a 10 week period, Camera Story mentees receive in depth private lessons, on the job training, business development and access to influential contacts and resources that will foster, long term potential.
$5000 allows CS to facilitate a 10 week engagement program
Our 10 week engagement photography program reaches disengaged youth in our communities. Young people will have the opportunity to learn how to use a professional camera, express themselves through photography and showcase their work to the public.
$15,000 allows CS to deliver creative projects in regional communities
Our yearly projects in the Kimberley region use photography to engage and develop people and their communities. The projects are always developed and delivered in response to community consultation. Previous projects have included teaching photography as an art form, as a profession, as an archival process and as story telling/narrative creation. The projects always aim to have a public component to ensure a wide reach and full community involvement.
